My name is Jack Catlette and I am a life long resident of the Mississippi Delta. I have always had a love for the Delta's people, history, landscapes, architecture, and wildlife.
In 2008 I started a small business named Moonflower Photography. The public has been very accepting of my work and I have been fortunate to win several awards.
In September of 2010 I won 1st place in the photography category for "Man On a Wheel" at the Delta Artist Association exhibit in Greenville, MS and received awards of merit for "The Blue Door" and "Fallen Cypress" at an exhibit in Lake Village, AR. In April 2011 I won Best In Show for "Man On a Wheel" at the Double Decker Arts Festival in Oxford, MS. In August of 2013 I won an Award of Merit at the Delta Artist Association exhibit in Leland, MS for my photograph "Wheels".
My work has been featured in the Jan.-Feb. 2010 and 2011 issues of Delta Magazine. Recently my photograph of a rooster made the cover of the Life in the Delta magazine. In 2014 I had an exhibit at the Library Commission in Jackson, MS which was on display for three months. I also have my work at the Attic Gallery in Vicksburg, MS, Turnrow Books in Greenwood, MS, The Crown In Town in Indianola, MS, and Montage Marketplace in Greenville, MS.
In addition, I have participated in numerous festivals and shows throughout the Delta and surrounding areas of Mississippi.
I plan to continue my work in photography because it is something I truly love to do.
